Up for consideration isa vintage set of 7 French Louis XVI chairs decorated in Hollywood Regency Style interior designer Maurice Wood of Grosse Pointe Park MI. The chairs measure about 38 inches high...the armchairs are 24 inches wide with a seat height of about 20 inches and about 22 inches deep. The side chairs about 20 inches deep. The chairs are have custom upholstery by interior designerMaurice Wood of Grosse Pointe Park,MI. The chairs are covered overin softleather with gold embroidered faux bamboo design in a diamond quilted pattern.The backs ofthe caned chairs arepainted in a yellow diamond quilted pattern.The chairsare sturdy with no breaks or old repairs.There are leather cushions for 6 of the 7 chairs.The leather has some issueswith light staining and overall wear.They date from the the late 1960\'s early 70\'s.
