Set of Seven (7) Early Apothecary Bottles, Fancy Gold Labels, Dated 1889:

Early matching set of seven (7) apothecary bottles with fancy gold labels under glass. Each of these seven bottles stands 6.5” tall to the top of the stopper. The jars all have wide mouths, and originally contained powdered contents that could be scooped out of the jar by the druggist. The labels are all recessed into the glass and are complete with no missing pieces and the cover glass is complete. Overall, the labels are in very good condition with bright gold color but they do show small areas of discoloration and tarnishing. The jars themselves are in very good condition, with some staining from contents and a few tiny nicks on the lip of a few jars mentioned for accuracy (not detracting). The jars have been lightly cleaned, but will clean up more if desired by the new owner. The stoppers are in very good condition, fit well, and can be removed. Each bottle is embossed “W.T. & Co./Pat.
