I purchased the clock at an estate sale. It was running and was the correct time when purchased. I let it run for 4 days and the time stayed accurate for those days within a few minutes. I moved the switch for the chime in both directions but it never chimed. When the switch is moved I do hear a movement inside. Overall physical condition is good. Minor dings and scratches from normal use and tarnished brass from age.
