This sale is for a Seth Thomas Helmsman ship\'s clock. Not familiar with clocks but will describe as accurately as possible. The front of this clock unscrews to access the winding poles and the clock face.There is no keyso it has not been tested. I suspect that it does not work. In that event, it may be repairable, or useableas a source of parts for the repair of a similar style clock.Itis quite heavy - due to the brass case.The serial no. is E537-001.The wooden base measures 10.25\" in length. The clock face measures ~4 inches and the brass ships wheel is~8.5 inches. The max height of the clock is ~9 inches.The width of the screw-off face cover is ~5.25 inches. A previous owner carved an inscription into the back of the wooden base.
