Seymour Duncan maintains a Custom Shop since 1976. Maricela Juarez \"MJ\" has wound pickups for countless professional musicians over the last three decades. The Custom Shop is known for building special pickups for musicians.80s and 90s pickups utilized a special coding system. The Pickup code indicated the model, followed by an additional letter showing the original winder. This humbucker was wound by the legendary Maricela Juarez \"MJ\" at Seymour Duncan\'s shop in Santa Barbara California in the 80\'s. The code reads \"DDJ\", which indicates a Duncan Distortion Bridge model, wound most likely before 1983. The \'J\' confirms that it was wound by MJ.For a reference see: Seymour Duncan Website - faqs - labels-built-before-2002This pickup is in great working condition, only a few light scratches on the bobbins, as expected for a vintage humbucker (see pictures for details). Long legs on a nickel baseplate.Four conductor wire. Electrical specifications measured by myself:Resistance (series, standard connection): 16.42 kOhms ; Inductance: 7.40 Henrys.
Individual coils: 8.14 kOhms - 3.04 Henrys and 8.33 kOhms - 3.61 Henrys
