Here is a nice vintage Aquamarine, approximately 9.5 inches tall, Calabash flask bottle, with great OPEN PONTIL on base, with 4 wide vertical flutes on each end, listed in American Bottles & Their Ancestry by McKearin as GXIII-43. One side has a Sheaf of Grain, tall, slender, fine stalks, tied above middle, has Rake and Pitchfork, crossing behind sheaf with two laurel branches above. Other side is embossed with an 8-petaled ornament. Above this are the peened out words: Sheets & Duffy. Quart size. Nice PONTILED calabash. Nice EARLY one here. Guaranteed ORIGINAL. Always popular with collectors. Provenance: James G. Becker Collection.

Condition: Almost Near Mint, NO chips, cracks, or dings. Tiny bit of light wear from use, minor. Potstone right above the top petal of the ornament, but NO radiating lines coming from it. This one looks great on the shelf. I grade this one a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10.
