Beautiful Shelley Mode Art Deco Lightening Strike designed by Eric Slater Tea Cup and matching Saucer, professionally restored/over-painted. The cup and saucer have no physical damage or repairs to the porcelain, but they have been carefully over painted to retouch the orange paint which may have faded or became worn. The bottom of the cup has been used to identify this post factory work with a “P” which I believe was added to ensure the honest mention of the paint work done. The cup is 3 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches tall, clean with no chips, cracks or crazing. The Saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter and in the same beautiful condition. Marked 1175.
