Description:Antique George W. Shiebler & Co. New York, NY, 14K sterling silver .925 pierced bon bon serving spoon, in the RARE 1880 Etruscan pattern ( Homeric Medallion figural style ), & is NOT monogrammed. The spoon has a hammered surface, pierced decor, 14K gold medallion on the handle, & another medallion in the bowl. Thespoon measures approximately 5 inches long, & weighs approximately 1.255 ozt. The back of thespoon is marked sterling & 14K along with the winged Shiebler mark, & A. Stowell & Co. (Retailer from Boston, Mass)1865-).Thespoon is ingood antique estate condition as follows;NO DENTS OR REPAIRS. THERE IS SOME SCRATCHING, & WEAR CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE.
