I am not sure of the metal. I believe all are sterling silver except the Lion and the Boar. From what I have seen on Sid Bell\'s tie tacks he does not stamp the back\'s with type of metal. The ones that I think are sterling silver is because of the nice patine on the metal and I don\'t see that on the Lion or the Boar.
