$1039.99

Roycroft was a reformist community of craft workers and artists which formed part of the Arts and Crafts movement in the United States. Elbert Hubbard founded the community in 1895, in the village of East Aurora, Erie County, New York near Buffalo. Participants were known as Roycrofters. The work and philosophy of the group, often referred to as the Roycroft movement, had a strong influence on the development of American architecture and design in the early 20th century. (wikipedia)

This is a beautiful copper set with an antique brass, acid etched finish. Excellent condition, with normal loss of finish consistent with previous ownership. The glass liner for the ink well has a chip on the bottom, as well as a crack on the lip neither of which is visible when the unit is assembled and neither of which affect its functionality since they do not go all the way through.

Approximate measurements are as follows: Pen Holder - 6 7/8\" by 2 1/4\" by 1/2\"; Letter Opener - 7 3/8\" by 1 1/4\" by 1/8\"; Ink Blotter - 5 1/2\" by 2 3/8\" by 1 3/4\"; Ink Well - 3 1/4\" by 3 1/4\" by 2 1/2\".
