This highly unusual piece of pottery is 5.5” tall, 5.5” wide and 5” deep. It includes a nose, a mouth, one eye, and one ear. It is signed on the bottom, but the last couple letters of the last name are missing. “Roz Gorman” seems like the most likely name, but I couldn’t find anything about an artist with that name. I don’t know if the artist was Native American or just a fan of their symbols, but the raindrops and scorpion on the side of the face look like petroglyph art. The obvious conditon problem is the chip on the ear. There are also tiny chips/nicks on other edges and the worn spots on the bottom.
