Amourelle pieces were desiged for Kramer in the 1960s by Frank Hess, who had previously been the head designer for Miriam Haskell. Amourelle pieces are very hard to find, and most like this one are very reminiscent of mid-century Miriam Haskell pieces in design and quality. Indeed, if one did not pick up the piece to check the signature, it would probably be identified as Haskell.
