This sale is for an original, antique, oil pot for a victorian oil lamp in the 1890s. It is signed near the base of the burner column - MERIDEN - for the scarce Meriden Lamp manufactured by the Meriden Bronze Co. It has a working thumbwheel for the wick raiser and filler cap. The finish is a dark brown plating to match a fancy banquet lamp base. Measures 6 5/8\" to the top of the wick column. It is in great condition - there are a couple small dings and discoloration, but overall has wonderful patina. Please view all the photos, as they are part of the description.
