DESCRIPTIONVintage c.1950s brooch and earrings set by Ming’s of Honolulu. This is their classic pikake flower design. The brooch features three leaves, stems, and three blossoms. The clip style earrings each feature a pair of blossoms and a leaf. The silver is hand-wrought. A classic set by this great Hawaiian jeweler.
MARKSEach of the three pieces is hand-signed Ming’s Sterling. The inside of the metal ear clips are marked Pat. 156452, a design patent issued in 1949
DIMENSIONSThe brooch is about 2 1/4” long
The earrings are about 1” long
CONDITIONExcellent condition with no damage. Silver could use a light cleaning in areas but there is no corrosion or pitting or other damage.
