A rare find indeed, a vintage belt buckle signed Sam Biern NY--This artist came to America shortly after WWI & became the most sought after button maker of his time--He designed & made the castings himself to sell his art work on the streets of NY in the 1930-40s--This 2 1/8\" x 2.5\" buckle appears to be brass (non magnetic) which was the media he used most--With it\'s age & storage it needs to be properly cleaned (see pic), but is a beautiful piece of American Deco design--Belt size is 1 1/4\" or it could be fashioned into a jewelry piece--See my other estate finds as I always combine shipping
