Offered here is this turn-of-the-last-century, c1900 silver and gold, (or gold filled) jeweler made pin brooch in the form of a model 1889 Prussian Infantry officers sword. The pin measures 2 5/16\" long (61mm) and is made of silver and gold (possibly gold fill or heavy gold plate) The pommel, eagle guard, scabbard rings and tip protector are gold, and incredibly detailed as you can see in the photos. The scabbard is silver, and the grip is blackened silver. The silver pin and round wire \"c\"catch are original and in good working order. I don\'t know if this was made as a sweetheart piece or not, but it is a very unique one, and I have not seen another like it.Itis offered with no hidden reserve and a low starting offer.
