Offered for sale is a Bach Omega Trumpet serial number 576xxx manufactured 2002. This instrument was known as the affordable Bach Stradivarius. The external and interior configuration is the same. It has a two piece bell and no tuning slide braces. The third valve slide is one piece with a water key. There were several runs of trumpets made as Omegas. This instrument is from the original run made from 1994 to 2004 that really is a production line Stradivarius. The weight and feel as well as to how it blows and responds is just like as a Stradivarius. This instrument was modified to eliminate the music lyre/sliding finger ring on the third valve slide and has a fixed ring in the right location. This can be a great step up horn for an aspiring student or a reliable backup horn for a pro.
