Old English reproduction silverplate over copper large footed covered serving dish by Lipman Bros. of Canada in the \"Vintage\" grape pattern. Circa 1931. RARE item! Dish measures 13 1/2\" in diameter and stands 4\" tall with lid. Hallmarked on bottom with L BROS. OLD ENGLISH REPRODUCTION 42. Covered dish features an engraved lid with a large grape leaf and vine type finial, raised grape and vine design on rim of dish, engraved bowl, and 3 button type feet. This is the only covered dish in this pattern that I have ever seen and a popular replacement site does not have one pictured or even mention that it exists. Bowl of dish has some stubborn tarnish on one side and 2 small spots where the copper is showing as pictured in last 3 photos, otherwise in amazing condition. This matches the 1847 Rogers Bros. Vintage pattern of flatware. Same design. This dish has been hand washed and polished. Please see pictures for detail work and condition as they are a part of the description.
