This wet-plate style sliding box camera is NEW...the C.C. Harrison lens (Nr. 7062) however is most definitely ca. 1850\'s/1860\'s and the entire outfit is of course in very good condition. The 4 x 5 inch format insert in the holder (see last pic) does actually contain a wet-plate negative (overall format of holder interior is 6-1/4 by 6-1/4 inches). Great for display or of course USE!
