This antique coin purse came out of my parents\' house and due to a pending major home move, its time for it to find a good, new home as I\'m downsizing.

The purse measures approximately 4-inches in length and is made of a red leather, with the smooth surface on the inside.

Closure is via a round, hinged lid that snaps closed onto the little metal nubs at the top of the wire mesh-work the leather is stitched to. This mesh-work expands into a fairly large-sized opening when stretched out. The metal appears to have had some brass on it but this has been mostly worn down to white metal (or it could be tarnished silver....I can\'t reallytell).

I have no clue as to age butremember this being around when I was a child (and I\'m almost 58 now), and have no clue of country of origin. There are no distinguishing marks that I can see. I would guess this is of European origin due to my heritage (Austrian and Hungarian).

In nice shape and fully functional.
