For yourconsideration we are offering this wonderful modern abstract style cast art .The art has a square raised mark in the sculpture in the bottom left corner. I received helpful informationthat this may be by the artist Paolo Soleri. Paolo Soleriwas an architect, designer and artist. I am not an expert, however; the mark matches other examples of his sculptures and castbells.He was born in Italy and immigrated to the US. In 1959 he founded a commune in Arizona.He is a well known artist and architect. The castsculpture is in the shape of a rectangle ingot, with raised/angled geometrictriangle shapes creating a pattern. The piece has a wonderful patina treatmentwhich creates greens, pinks and a copper color. The patina finishhas tones of verdigris and rust.This is a recent find at a local estate sale.I do not know the age of this piece. The small art has a hole in the back forhanging. The piece is in great condition. There is a tiny scratch on the back The art sculpture has a wonderfulmodern design. The piece measures approximately 4 & 7/8\" high and theart measures approximately 2 & 1/2\" wide. This little gem will make afine addition to your collection.
