This is a lovely Heavy, Solid Hand Cast Bronze Sculpture entitled \"The Horse of Xian\" by renowned Chinese artist Yao You-Xin, commisioned by Franklin Mint in 1985 and sold/purchased in 1986. It is quite rare, as I have not been able to find anther one for sale on

It is finished with a black with a green mottled effect to give the look of of very old, aged bronze, with verdigris pigmentation.

The sculpture is based on Ancient Chinese Horse figures and it is stunning! Its simplistic style and clean lines means that it would look good with both traditional or minimalistic decor.

As you can see from the photos, there are a few very tiny marks here and there (see photos). where these marks are you can see the bronze underneath, but at least you can see from this that it isdefinitelymade from bronze :)
