We offer for sale this fantastic solid silver Arts and crafts inspired planished Tea Set by Charles Edwards. Assayed in London in 1921/2.The three piece setepitomises the beauty and designs of its eraand the planished finish to each piece adds depth and interest.The tea set is ofcircular form and made of good gauge silver with exquisite workmanship as one would expect from one of the foremost silversmiths of the time.

Thesucrier and cream jug haveapplied sinuous strap work silver handles. Thetea pot has an ebonised wooden handle which is attached also by the same sinous straps as the other pieces. All areraisedon plain pad feet. The sucrier is tyg shaped and on its own would be a great collectors piece. All pieces are fully hallmarked for London 1921/2. Each piece has clear hallmarks and each is in verygood condition.Beautifully made and of superb quality.
