Elegant quality piece by Birminham Maker Joseph Gloster and hallmarked with letter y for 1923 - foliate engraving front and back - has monogram engraved into front cartouche - sprung retaining bars (nickel) intact and working - gilt interior - small dinks and scratches as expected from its age but generally good - catch works very well.
