Antique Dutch sterling silver novelty tea caddy modelled as a Dutch dresser, carries a series of marks to base as well as the Dutch date letter for 1892 and partial English import marks to base as well as the lid and a full set of English marks to the side showing it was hallmarked in London 1892 with the importers mark being that of Louis Landsberg.

A highly detailed piece with many scenes decorating all sides, top and lid with the lid having what appears to be a deer to the top.

The base section slides off as well as the pull off lid.

Its in super clean condition with no dents or repairs, the 4 legs and 4 top rim corner finials are all slightly bent in but otherwise its in excellent shape, there is a slight wobble when it is sitting on a flat surface.

No doubt be straight forward to slightly bend back the legs and the top finials but we have decided to leave as we found it to avoid any damage.

It stands 137mm tall and measures 69x43mm at its widest points.

A few other Dutch marks are noticeable, a mark next to the full set of English marks (a key) and a head facing left on lid with the letter M above and another more faint head facing right also on the lid facing the other head.

A super novelty piece.
