\"The Chester Beatty Western Manuscripts, Part 1: Catalogue of Thirty-Seven manuscripts of the 9th to the 16th Century\" is a 106 page (plus 48 plates), 8.75\"x11\" hardcover issued for a sale held by Sotheby\'s on December 3, 1968 in London. The 37 important books saleed off are described in detail here, with many black-and-white (and a couple color) reproductions of important pages. A results sheet is laid in. The book is in good condition, with writing at front top of the cover, lightly bumped top corners, several other small bumps along the edges. The only interior mark is an old price in pencil on the ffep. The binding is tight.
