Buffalo, NY Sterling 5.50 inch teaspoon. Plain gold wash bowl. The word Buffalo is on the stem handle of the spoon and the finial is a cut-out of the Buffalo animal. Turn the spoon over and you will find the word STERLING plus the name of the silversmith P.G. Tanner. Perry G. Tanner was from Cooperstown, NY, b. 1816 and d. 1898. This spoon was designed during his lifetime. It is a heavy feeling spoon with a plain flat back. It was in my mother\'s collection.
