Up for saleis a Spanish American War Era US Army Pattern 1902 Canvas Haversack Pack. The haversack is used, see photo\'s for condition. The haversackisKhaki incolor. The metal parts are have some rusting. It still has the canvas strap to close the pack. This example is US marked, withNew York National GuardUnit Markings.Thepack has theSpring hookson the back for the shoulder strap.No visible manufacturer markings.

The bag is made ofdrab duck canvas with Spring Hooks on the upper corners of the back and a14\" x 14\" flap on the front. Inside, the pack is dividedintotwo compartments, onefor a removable pocket.Apocket on the front designed to hold the 1874 meat can. There is a utensil pocket on each side for storage ofa knife and fork. This bag used the detachable 2\" wideleather shoulder strap (not included).
