For your consideration, we present this beautiful Spanish copper/gilt/glass etagere.
It is a combination of both beauty and utility, and perfectly expresses its owners appreciation of the finerthings in life.It is reminiscent of the lush HOLLYWOOD REGENCYstyle or even French provincial style.On the back of the crown unit is a sticker stating MADE IN SPAIN.
In function, it serves as an exquisite piece to display fine crystal, china, porcelain or other treasuredarticles ormementos. There is a light inside the crown that shines down through the glass shelving to highlightthetreasures on display.

The top of the base serves as an additional shelf and is painted with a gold-color overlay and has a mottled,puddled affect. It is quite attractive and blends beautifully with the metal framework. There was some smallloss of gold overlay paint at the points where the paint meets the metal frame and a few other spots; theyhave been touched up with gold paint. The touch ups are minimal considering the use this beautiful pieceof display furniture has had. Overall, this is a stunning piece of craftsmanship which will wonderfully highlightyour personal treasures and mementos for years.
The base has side-by-side doors which open wide to reveal storage for accessories such as candles, serving dishesor otherfine mementos awaiting their time to be seen and shine.
The metal frame is of a dark copper color, with black splash accents, and it is welded together at the joints. The finedetailing of metalwork shows in the accents of metal rope, tassels and finials. Overall this is a stunning pieceof furniture which displays beautifully and serves functionally as well.
The glass shelves have some minor scratching. One shelf has a piece of a corner broken off. The break measures approximately1.5 \" long and 3/8\" deep. There are some scratch marks and some loss of gold paint color on the top of the base, where themetal frame posts fit into the slots that hold the frame in place.
Measurements are 84\" tall assembled. The metal frame is removable from the wooden base. The metalframe alonemeasures 61\" tall plus another inch or so for the bolts that fit into the wooden base. The base alone measures 23\" high.The unit is 31 1/2\" wide, and 14 1/4\" deep.
I have not cleanedit other than towipe it with a soft damp cloth to remove dust, and I have used glass cleaner on the glassshelves.
