Here is acirca 1915 German Mohair Teddy Bear five ways jointed. This wonderful earlybear features extremely long curved arms, glass eyes, stitched nose and mouth.Teddy is completely straw filled, and sits straight and proud with head heldhigh. All of Ted’s limbs move freely. This old Ted was obviously carried aboutby the arm, and has therefore suffered some loss of fur there. There areprofessionally replaced paw pads, and a non-working squeaker. Most of Ted’sgolden mohair remains, and is in good clean condition. This very fine bearmeasures 17 inches tall.
