It is carved from faux ivory and represents a very content cat. The quality of the carving is superb. The posture is playful. The surface has a high polished hyper-sheen. I cannot say enough about this piece! It measures almost 2 1/2\" tall, by 1 1/8\" wide, and a little over 3/4\" deep. There are two holes drilled in the head, as well as two holes in the base for stringing. It is signed with character marks on the bottom as seen in the last picture. It is in PERFECT condition!
