Up for sale are two copies of Spider-Man #1 from 1990 by Todd McFarlane. The first is the bagged (no price on comic – only on the bag) edition in a never opened, original bag. The other is the un-bagged edition with the price on the comic. Both are first editions, never read in NM/M condition. They were found with several other copies in a box in a comic distributor’s warehouse where they sat for the past 20+ years.
Please note that over the past 20+ years, I have sold hundreds of these bagged Spider-Man #1\'s. The bagged version has a seam from the plastic bag that always leaves a dent in the front cover copy under it. I have never seen a copy of the bagged version that does not have this dent. All of the copies I have for sale have this dent - it is not a crease caused by folding or bending, it is a dent caused by the seam of the plastic bag and the weight of the copies on top of it when they were printed and packaged.
