Description(Please Read Full Description) For your consideration is a Spiked German Pickelhaube Helmet made of hardenedleather and brass or aluminum bronze. The helmet features a large Eagle Wappen(coat of arms) with a ribbon that bears the motto \"MIT GOTT FÜR KOENIG UNDVATERLAND\" (With God for King and Fatherland). The helmet is attractive inappearance and does not show a lot of outward wear, rust, or dryness on theleather. The helmet is absent any manufacturer’s marks, stenciling, writing,characters or identifying marks. The helmet measures approximately 10” front toback and just over 6” from side to side, and just over 8” to the top of thespike.
