Description - Stunning rectangular card case with hinged lid, the case has nice scroll borders and has beautiful bright cut floral hand engraving on both sides, and with two central cartouches with one having a monogram, the interior is silver-gilt (Gold washed),
The case is fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the date letter \"c\" for the year 1902, and the maker\'s mark. The maker\'s mark has been over stamped with a different maker, however I can just about make out the mark \"GU\" underneath which isGeorge Unite.
Condition - The card case is is in good condition there are no dents, dinks, holes or repairs, the engraving is crisp and clear, without any rubbing or wear, the hinge is in good working order but has a small fracture (See image).
Dimensions & Weight - The card case is 9.7cm long x 7.1cm wide, the weight is 53.9 grams.
