Description:RARE antique Gorham sterling silver .925 gilt dainty coffee demitasse spoon, in the circa1885 APOLLONo. 57-C pattern, which is NOT monogrammed. The spoon\'s figural handle is that of a partially robedmale nude or God, holding a staff,from Roman Mythology. The spoon measures approximately 4 1/4inches long. The spoon weighs approximately .295 ozt. The back of the spoon is marked sterling along with the Gorham lion, anchor, G mark, & 57. The spoon is ingood antique estate condition;NO DENTS OR REPAIRS. THERE IS SOME LIGHT SCRATCHING & WEAR CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE. I HAVE GIVEN THE PIECE A LIGHT POLISH & THERE MAY BE SOME POLISH REMAINS. THERE IS GLARE & REFLECTION IN SOME PHOTOS.
