~The wood is all in very good shape, no chips or cracks.
~The Japanningis 99.9%.
~ No cracks aroundthe mouth nor anywhere on the base.
~Bailey is cast into the base on the toe.
~Made in The USA is cast behind thetote.
~No 5 1/4 is cast on the heel.
~The Pat. No 1918750 is cast into the underside of the lever cap.
~ Stanley is cast into the top of the lever cap.
~The Stanley 1936 Logo is stamped on the cutter.
Thisis a very tight and ready for work plane made duringthe Second World War. The depth adjustment knob is made of steel. A great Plane for any collection and a good work plane.
