StanleyLink was anAmerican cartoonist born in 1894. He took a correspondence course in cartooningwhen he was a teenager. When he was sixteen, he began to work with an animationcompany. In the early 1920s, he became SidneySmith\'sassistant. He launched the panel Ching Chow in 1927. In 1933, he createdhis own strip, TinyTim. Healso created the family strip The Dailys. Link died in 1957.

This original artwork to a Sunday page from 6-2-1940features Tim facing many forces of nature to get back home to his motherEverything ends happily ever after—for the time being. The artwork is inexcellent condition, with minor discoloration to the edges. 20 x 14 inches.
