I\'ve had this Star Wars Darth Vader Costume for over 11 years now. Its been on display in my house all this time. It was used for costumingabout 3 times. I put this costume together piece by piece back in the day, before you were able to buy them from rubies now complete. I know my total investment for this costume was around $3500. That\'s why they weren\'t that common at the cons and conventions back in the day.

Everything on this costume is premium quailty, way way better from what you get from a rubies. The only thing that\'s Rubies is the helmet, which is the plastic version. I had it painted at an automotive hope high gloss, so its very shiny. Unfortunatley, at one piont I tried to buff it out to make it more shiny and accidentally did a little damage to it with the wheel buffer. Look at picture I\'m including. Also on the chest their is small ship from the cape chain from rubbing on it.

The chest and leg chin pieces on this costume are altmann products. Lets give him credit for the great job Steve did back in the day. They are both abs plastic, nice paint and very shiny. The chest box came from the only person that made them back in the day, I think he was known as Chen (not sure). All I know is he was the best and very expensive. It has the correct light sequence. The belt came from someone in Canada. Lights up real bright.

The boots are a size 10 to 11. The cape is super nice quality and heavy. Undercape is standard, okay quailty. The two piece under suit is a large to extra large size, also great quality material, not leather but close to it. Same with the gloves.
