I received this movie prop in a trade with a fellow collector. Many times in tv shows when money runs out prop makers will have to resort to purchasing toys and painting them especially when they are not used directly on screen and only used in the background. This is an example of movie prop ingenuity, like shows before it like Power Rangers the prop department would often. Go to great lengths to stretch the finances of the department and sometimes that meant cutting corners on background weapons and not being as detailed. This is such a weapon and is very rare. Initially intended to be used for a short film, however I recently purchased a cobra weapon from Gi Joe during the holidays and I am no longer in need of this cool prop. This prop has lights and sounds.
