This is a delightful set of 4 small plates by Kari Nyquist and each one is marked STAVANGERFLINT NORWAY on the back. They measure 5 inches by 5 inches and have little holes for attaching a hook for display purposes but they could also be used enjoyably as snack dishes at a party. Each of the blue and white plates has a different design involving transportation. A young girl rides a horse, a mustachioed gentleman rides a horse while another one rides a bicycle, and a courting couple are in a rowboat. Two of the plates have tiny nicks on the back which may have happened during the firing process but the overall condition is excellent.
