This is Steiff\'s USA Limited Edition Mascot Mule of the US Army whichwas only producedfor one year (1957). Very rarely are these fabulouslittle mohair Esel Donkeys with googlyglass eyes and blue felt blanketsaddle (trimmed out with a large gold letter \"A\" ) offered.Particularlywonderful is the very excellent overall condition of the mule and thefact thatboth the old raised thin scripted button and the original chesttag are still available.Measuring approximately 6 1/2\" tall x 51/2\" longnot including the tail this cute little guyis considered to be a 14cmsized mascot Mule ( Steiff only produced him in two sizes(12cm & 14cm).He would be a outstandingly unique gift for that Steiff collector , US Armymemorabilia lover, or for those who appreciate very adorable but HTFcollectible Donkeys.
