Up for sale here is an especially rare treat for Stephen King collectors! This is the ultra rare Viking advance reader\'s proof for review of \"Desperation\". 1996, Viking, NY. Printed in a very small run of copies overall, this is truly a gem and one of the hardest books completist collectors have to find. This is exceptionally rare as the publisher inadvertently typeset \"Steven King\" on the copyright page. Later corrected of course, this has made this a very scarce item among sellers and collectors. This item is listed elsewhere on the web now at over $500.00.
This is from my personal collection and I have had it since 1996. It has very minor defects on the covers, minor soling scuffing and small signs it was definitely read. Otherwise a beautiful copy. Protected now in a mylar cover protector too. I am an ardent King collector and have been since the 1980\'s. I will be selling more of my amazing ARC collection in the days and weeks to come. My loss is your gain!
