Main DescriptionAn exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver cigarette/cigar box - boxed; an addition to the ornamental silverware collection.
This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver cigarette box has a plain rectangular form with rounded corners.
The surface of this impressive cigar/cigarette box is plain and unembellished .
The box is fitted with two hinged covers each embellished with the contemporary bright cut engraved elucidating inscription \'Cigars\' and \'Cigarettes\'.
The interior of each compartment, in addition to the compartmentalised body features a cedar wood lining.
This antique box has a weighted base and retains the original leatherette covering to the underside.
This fine example of Edwardian silverware is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a hinged catch.
