Absolutely Stunning Art Nouveau Sterling silver Vanity Set. Repousse! Remarkable 21 pieces. Design is a women with Birds looking at flying birds surrounded by flowers and vine. The pattern is Flora Dora was a movie.
Each piece marked Sterling and marked F B with a Flag. This is not the original box but it sure fits well. Exterior of box a bit faded but inside still a nice green satin. A few tiny spots you can hardly notice.
So we have 1 large dresser jar 2 3/4 across by 2 inches tall. Has a few very light scratches on bottom but I see no flea bites. Washed in gold on inside of the lid.
1 medium jar measures 1 3/4 across by 1 1/2 tall. No flea bites, also gold washed on inside of the lid.
2 small jars no flea bites.
1 very rare magnifier has a small dent on side.
1 large and 1 small clothes brush. A few bristles a skew but not shedding. A few dents around the edges and larger brush has a very tiny piece of plastic that holds the bristles missing.
1 hair brush measures 7 1/4 long by 2 1/4 wide. Bristles discolored. A slight rattling in the handle if you shake it.
1 hand mirror has very slight ghosting and a small scratch. My image is very clear. Very serviceable. Gorgeous reposse. Measures 8 inches long by 4 1/2 wide.
1 small snap shut purse to match has flannel leaves. Stamps or calling cards. Very Rare.
1 hat brush has a very small ding and hairs are a little fluffy.
1 scissors cut well. Measures 4 1/4 by 1 7/8.
1 nail buffer. Suede a little discolored but still soft.
1 very large boot lace hook. Measures 8 3/4 inches long.
1 small button hook measures 6 inches.
2 hair curlers. One measures 6 1/4 inches long and has mother of pearl button.
2nd one measures 8 7/8 long. Has 4 small dings on sides. Mother of pearl button.
2 nail scrapers measures 4 3/4 and 4 1/4 respectively.
I have nitpicked for accuracy. This rare set is breathtaking museum quality. Overall it could be polished but I leave that to the buyer. The set has patina.
