The delightful little sterling double or \"jugate\" desk picture frame features two oval side by side picture slots and is decorated by cast and possibly chased pansies and leaves. It stands upright with a brace on the reverse side modeled after a bird\'s claw. It is 2.25\" wide and 1.75\" tall. It is heavily made for its size at 19 grams. I think the piece dates from the 2nd quarter of the 20th c. and was probably made in America.
