Sterling Silver Nut/Candy Dishes, Set of 12. \'Irish\' by Wallace/Watson. NO MONO:
$539.00

Delightful set of 12 sterling nut dishes in the \'Irish\' pattern (A162), made by Watson in the late 1940s. These are typical of the Irish holloware pattern, with the point-tipped lobed petals gracefully rising up from the base of the dish.Wallace Silversmiths acquired Watson Co in 1955, after which it continued to make the \'Irish\' pattern under its own name. The dishes are 3\" diameter, 3/4\" high. They are in overall excellent condition, with light tarnish from long-term storage and some dishes with small black dots on the inside of the bowl. No monograms. Although small, these dishes have a good heft to them, with total weight approx 11.7 oz on my postal scale (332 g).Shipping only to registered PayPal addresses in the US.
