A fine and impressive antique George IV English sterling silver teapot made by Paul Storr; an addition to our collectable silver teaware collection

This impressive antique George IV sterling silver teapot has a plain circular rounded form to a plain collet foot.

The surface of this bachelor teapot is plain and encircled with an applied girdle.

This fine example of antique silverware is fitted with the original hallmarked domed hinged cover which retains the original and impressive sterling silver floral finial.

The fine plain hallmarked C scroll handle is ornamented with an impressive applied stemmed bud decorated thumbpiece.

The plain swan necked spout is embellished with applied moulded ornamentation reflecting a continuation of the girld to the body.

This impressive example of antique teaware was crafted by the renowned London silversmith Paul Storr.

Condition

This antique bachelor teapot is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition in keeping with age.
The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the body and part hallmarks to the handle and interior of the cover are all very clear.
