Unger Bros Love\'s Dream Thread HolderThis is a sterling silver thread holder made by the Unger Brothers Company of Newark, New Jersey in their Love\'s Dream pattern. The top and the bottom, or both \"ends\" of the thread holder have the Love\'s Dream motif in repousse. The sides of the thread container are plain. It is approximately one and three eighths inches tall and about one inch in diameter.
When the tread holder is opened, the hole and slot for the thread to pass through can be seen. This thread holder has the Unger Bros \"U\" ontop of \"B\" logo stamped on it and sterling, 925 fine and the number 0647.
This thread holder is in excellent antique condition with no wear holes and no monogram or other engravings nor any monogram removals. A little extra polishing will make it even better. There are some light scratches from use, but no damage from abuse.
