The originalSteuben Glass Olive Dish with Snail Scroll Handle was first introduced at the 1939 Worlds Fair in New York and is a design by long time Master Designer for Steuben, John Dreves and now sells new for $650.00. on the Steuben site. This offering was a gift to my parents on their 15th Wedding Anniversary in 1939. It has seen lots of use over the years as you can see in the photos of the bottom of the dish. It is has very tiny \"flea\" on the front edge which does not show in the photos and not very visible to the eye. The smaller Olive Dish is from the original design by Dreves and now sells for $150.00 new. It is in perfect condition. It works perfectly for olive pits too.
Tha original measures1.75inch high x 5.00inch diameter and the smaller olive dish measures 1-3/8 inch high x 2.3/4 inch diameter.
