Description:

The STG30 actuator range is used extensively in diesel andgas engine power generation and marine propulsion

engine applications.

The Actuator replaces most Hydraulic actuators such as theWoodward UG8 range. The base of the actuator can

have an optional fitting that will allow the output shaft tobe in an identical position to that of the Woodward unit.

This is called the UG8 Base Adaptor Plate.

Fitting of the actuator can be in any position or attituderelative to the engine fuel linkage and has the advantage of

being able to be mounted away from engine vibration highspots such as the conventional mechanical drive gear

train and shaft.

Another major advantage is that the actuator drives in bothdirections at full rated torque and has a closed loop

positional drive allowing high torque to overcome linkagefriction over the range 0—100%..
